Professionally built in 2005, I am the second owner and have modified it from a Sand rail for our local terrain, modifications include
- reinforced chassis
- rear coilover conversion
- new 3x3 HD trailing arms
- new chrome alloy stub axles
- new bearings
- new rear disc brakes
The buggy is a ROLLER meaning it has no motor or trans mission but is set up for a VW beetle IRS transaxle or you can get adapters for a bus IRS transaxle.
The roller comes with
- 4 racing seats with 4 point harnesses
- gas tank
- complete rack and pinion steering system
- rear beadlock wheels / front steelies
- sand paddle tire set up ( 1 front is damaged)
- ignition box for vw motor
- steering brake
All the rest of the parts can easily be obtained from California Imports in Vancouver that has free shipping (pretty sure).
Its a cool buggy but I have too many other projects on the go so it needs a new home and would be a fun winter project for some one.
